Individuals have tried and worked to solve this crisis. One example is Brian Steidle. He began a speaking tour, wrote a book, and produced a documentation about his experiences in Darfur. Today he remains an activist against genocide. No plans have been made by the local or national level to solve this crisis. Nobody has been doing anything about this situation. The U.S. doesn't want anything to do with African and doesn't always want to be the one to step into something and try to solve the situation. Since this genocide is still occurring, even though the world claims genocide will never happen again, nobody never does anything to prevent it from happening again. What we can do to try and stop genocides from occurring ever again is we can try to write letters to Barack Obama and have him try to step in and stop the mess that's going on. We can convince people that aa genocide is occurring in Darfur and try to have the people that believe us and stop this genocide from being the last one, and actually taking actions in our words and never let a genocide happen in the world again.
